Here are some samples of my fiction. Short Fiction I Desire Your Happiness - A story about giving everything to the one you love, taken to the extreme. Jeff's Girl- Sometimes you do get what you want...and more than you bargained for. My Heart Is Full- See what happens when you attempt to graft a relationship with a real human being onto culturally ingrained narratives about the search for a higher power. Storytelling- Sometimes truth is inseparable from fiction. The Last Ride Out of Town- Legends are born from the desire humans feel to break free from their limitations. The greater the limitation, the more fabulous the escape. What Remains- Obsession can offer a glimpse into the sublime. Novel Excerpts Landscape of the Moon- Three people set out on two cross country journeys in an attempt to restore their lost sense of humanity. In the process, they learn about the limitations of what it means to be human. |

The scene of contemporary writing is a magic lantern light show of of interests, colors, shapes, voices singing in and out of key, dancing in and out of rhythm. We are legion. We contain multitudes. So do I. I am a writer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am keenly interested in the intersection between person, place, culture, object, other. Fiction is the way I hide. It is the place where old loves and new passions come to rest a while amid the soul crushing time sucking vortex of daily life. Stop and browse a while in the open book of of my interweb life. |
